BWI Photos: Penn State hoops open practice
Penn State Men’s basketball held an open practice to the media on Tuesday and Blue White Illustrated was there to see the action. This is the first time that Penn State fans have gotten to see several key transfers and new players in blue and white.
Head coach Micah Shrewsberry and several players spoke before the event as well. The leader of the Nittany Lions was in good spirits, joking with the media about his team’s practice this summer.
“The level of comfort from one year to the next is different. I’m excited about our group. We got a long way to go. We’re a terrible defensive team. We haven’t done any defense at all this summer. You guys know that’s not who I am. We’ll get that corrected. But, we’re trying to work on our offense. We want to be able to score the ball next year. We’re trying to take our time and do that,” Shrewsberry said.
