Complete results from Penn State's 2025 Pro Day

Penn State has 12 players workout at its Pro Day Friday, 11 of whom were part of the 2024 roster that advanced all the way to the College Football Playoff semifinals.
The Nittany Lions are expeted to have at least two first-round draft picks in the 2025 NFL Draft, which is set to begin April 24 and will take place in Green Bay, Wisc., this year.
Defensive end Abdul Carter likely won’t be the first overall pick this year, but he is considered by some to be the top available player. A recent ESPN mock draft has him had him going as high as No. 2 overall to the Cleveland Browns. Others believe he could end up dropping a few spots lower, but most expect Carter going somewhere within the top five or so selections. However, he chose not to participate in Penn State’s Pro Day as a rehabs a shoulder injury he suffered against Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl.
Tight end Tyler Warren also didn’t particpate, but he too is expected to be selected in the first round. Most expect him to be selected somewhere after the Top 10. ESPN’s Matt Miller recently projected him to be the 12th selection to the Dallas Cowboys.

Beyond those two, former Penn State safeties Kevin Winston Jr. and Jaylen Reed are both expeted to be drafted. Winston missed nearly the entire season following an ACL injury, but he was able to run on Friday. His 4.5-second 40-time came just six months after he had surgery on his ACL.

“It’s been about two months,” Winston said, when asked how long he’s been training. “I haven’t had too many full 40s just yet. That was just my second one. So, I’ve been working a little bit. I’ve been just kind of easing into it. First, it was just running and getting to run. Then, it was working the first 10 [yards] and the first 20. I ran a 4.44 back before we came.”

Winston said that his 4.44-second time came just a week a go. He added that he was running in the 4.3-second range before his knee injury. However, he’s still considered one of the best defensive backs in the draft. He’ll likely hear his name called late in the second round or in the third round. Reed is also projected to hear his name called in day two, likely in the third round.
The fifth Penn State player that most expect to be draft is linebacker Kobe King. His 4.63-second 40 was expected, but he also posted an impressive shuttle time at 4.26 seconds. That would’ve ranked among the best at the NFL Combine this year.
