When we discuss Penn State football in a recruiting context, the term "Penn State player" or Penn State DNA" is occasionally used. The idea is that certain players have the right personality or mindset to fit with the program's ethos. It's hard to find a player who captures this concept more than four-star edge rusher from Texas, Max Granville. The elite 2025 commit decided to forego his senior year of high school and reclassify to the Class of 2024. He's enrolling at Penn State this semester and joined the team on July 29, hours before the start of 2024 training camp. Blue White Illustrated sat down with Granville for an exclusive interview.
