Penn State came into the weekend with a pretty good idea of how things would play out over the next month. Win against the Terps, and we’ll see you in a few weeks back at Beaver Stadium for a home playoff game. In the new expanded playoff era, the Nittany Lions had made the most of their second chance by winning three straight after a loss to Ohio State. But as we've seen in college football this season, things don't happen exactly as you draw them up.
