This offseason, we dove into the film to understand what the new Penn State offensive coordinator did at Kansas. But there's a big question about what is coming over from that system and what Kotelnicki will do to fit his offensive personnel at Penn State. Head coach James Franklin made it clear that each of his three new coordinators needed to work with what the team had already established to create a smooth transition this year.  "All three coordinators were hired under the idea that we really need to do what's best for Penn State moving forward," Franklin said on Wednesday.
