How Juice Scruggs can help solve Penn State run game issues
“Looks like” isn’t always the best place to start when determining the improvement of a football player from one season to another. But sometimes, it is the exact right place to start. Penn State center Juice Scruggs is one of those players. “To be honest, my main focus was last year; I played around 310 or 312 [pounds], and sometimes I felt like I was too light in the ass, excuse my French," Scruggs said after Penn State's Wednesday practice. "So I made a goal this year to attack the weight and put on good weight, not bad weight, and I think I did that." The added weight is also a significant shift from what Penn State has deployed at center in recent years.
