How to watch Penn State football opposite Maryland: Time, channel, streaming info, and more
No. 14 Penn State hosts 6-3 Maryland on Saturday at Beaver Stadium. The Terrapins are coming off a 23-10 loss at Wisconsin, while the Lions took out Indiana 45-14 last weekend in Bloomington.
“It’s not a rivalry game,” Maryland coach Mike Locksley told reporters this week. “I told our team there’s no such thing. This is not a rivalry game. Obviously, we have to compete a little better to get it to that point.
“We have some guys that were here, that were part of going up there and getting a big win. That was something we haven’t done a lot around here. But it’s going to come down [to] us blocking, tackling, running, catching and throwing. Putting in the work.”
Penn State is putting in its own work, of course, to try and continue holding serve in a series that it has a massive all-time edge in.
“Moving on to Maryland, obviously you guys know I’ve known Mike Locksley for a long time,” Penn State coach James Franklin said Tuesday.
“We have been on the same staff at the University of Maryland for a number of years. He’s done a really good job there improving their program and their roster.”
