A top-15 matchup is set at Beaver Stadium on Saturday. No. 13 Penn State will welcome No. 2 Ohio State to town for the Lions’ annual Stripe Out game. The Big Ten East clash will go a long way toward deciding who ultimately takes the penultimate division crown before the conference does away with them starting in 2024.

“When you talk about Ohio State and Ryan Day, obviously a ton of respect for what they have been able to do for a long time,” James Franklin said on Tuesday. “They have been doing it for a long time at Ohio State. But a ton of respect for them and what they do and how they go about their business.

Added Day during his own Tuesday news conference:

“We knew when we see the schedule going into State College is going to be a huge challenge. Always is. So, you know, our guys understand what a challenge it’s going to be, and so we get to have a great week of preparation.”
