How to watch Penn State-Maryland; spread, pregame info, kick time, more: Gameday Central
It is game day again, Penn State fans! Head coach James Franklin’s team is back in Beaver Stadium today for the first time in November. The Nittany Lions aim to continue what has been a historically long run of dominance over Maryland when the Terps visit this afternoon.
“We’ve got to do what we’ve got to do this week to be 1-0, continue to stack wins and stack days and be positive,” Franklin said Tuesday.
The Lions are coming off a 44-15 win over Indiana. Maryland, meanwhile, lost 23-10 last Saturday at Wisconsin.
“Penn State, obviously a very good team,” Terps coach Mike Locksley said. “Their natural geographical location to us makes this game kind of one of those games. It’s not a rivalry game. I told our team there’s no such thing, it’s not a rivalry game. Obviously, we have to compete a little better to get it to that point. But, right now, they are a regional team that’s really close to us [and] comes into our area to recruit.
“There are a lot of natural relationships because of the location of both universities. Other than that, it’s Penn State versus Maryland. And I can tell you that our guys are excited about this opportunity to go up there and play.”
Blue-White Illustrated will have daylong complete coverage from pregame posts to an in-game live updates blog and thread to everything you need to know once the clock strikes four zeroes late Saturday night.
To kick things off, gameday central catches you up on what you may have missed leading up to kickoff and also has all the details you need to know.
