No. 10 Penn State is set for its penultimate home game of the 2023 season. And, it’s the biggest contest of the year at Beaver Stadium. No. 3 Michigan comes to State College for a Noon ET kickoff. The Nittany Lions are aiming to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive. The Wolverines, meanwhile, want to keep their unbeaten season intact.

“Pass protection is huge, with the O-line and the running backs,” Michigan running backs coach Mike Hart said. “This D-line … it’s the best blitzing linebacker crew that we’ve played all year, it’s the best D-line that we’ve played all year. Between the O-line and the running backs, it’s going to be tough. Not going to lie, it’s going to be a tough one. But we’ll get it done.”

Said Penn State coach James Franklin:

“It’s really important that, at this point of the year, we have at least a two deep going into the game that’s gained experience. So, that allows you with a three-deep, to have maybe one guy that’s bumped up or bruised, so I think the depth is really important. They got a lot of depth on their defense, and their front seven, and play a ton of guys. We do as well. That’s going to be important. This quarterback is a heck of an athlete and being able to have fresh bodies in there to be able to kind of chase him and create some pressure is going to be really important.”
