How to watch Penn State-Michigan State; spread, pregame info, kick time, more: Gameday Central
It’s game day again, Penn State fans! The regular season has flown by, and the season finale is here. No. 11 Penn State hosts 5-6 Michigan State on Saturday for Senior Day. And, the Land Grant Trophy is up for grabs.
“It will be emotional, but I’ll pay respect to those guys,” Lions coach James Franklin said. “We got a bunch of guys today taking graduation photos with me in the facility. So a lot of different things going on, but obviously a ton of respect. I hope, this is always a challenging game because a lot of students are gone for break, but I hope the place is sold out and rocking.
“I hope all of the seniors get cheered the way I think they deserved to be cheered, not only in the Senior Day ceremonies, but when they announce the starters and things like that; I think that would be the right thing to do.”
Added Michigan State coach Mel Tucker on the matchup:
“I believe there’s a sense of urgency. There’s a sense of urgency on the staff and also with the players. We always ask our players and we always ask the staff to raise the level of intensity every day and that’s happening.
“It’s the last regular-season game, guaranteed opportunity for us, so it’s huge.”
