BWI publisher Sean Fitz published a new edition of his exclusive ‘S’ Zone insider news and notes column on Friday ahead of the big Penn State recruiting weekend.
“Penn State didn’t get a Lasch Bash commitment in 2022, but they did turn a late July camp offer to Jaxon Smolik into a pledge in the span of a few weeks. Of the Nittany Lions’ current Class of 2024, only Cooper Cousins, Quinton Martin and Peter Gonzalez attended the event last summer. Class of 2025 commit Jaelyne Matthews attended last year as well,” Fitz wrote in his On3+ piece for BWI subscribers.
