Carter Starocci racked up a bunch of takedowns and 3:31 in riding time en route to a 19-4 technical fall triumph over Michigan’s Jaden Bullock at 184 pounds. Penn State leads Michigan 33-0 with two bouts to go.

Mitchell Mesenbrink beats No. 10 Beau Mantanona of Michigan by major decision, 18-4. He had 2:38 in riding time. It’s the Nittany Lions’ first non-technical fall win of the season, though he certainly earned one, as Mantanona could have been hit for stalling a few more times. Kysion Garcia filled in for Braeden Davis at 133 and beat Michigan’s Nolan Wertanen by decision, 4-1. A second period takedown with eight seconds left to wrestle in the middle frame was the difference. Penn State leads the Wolverines 9-0 after two bouts.

Penn State freshman Luke Lilledahl decks Michigan’s Christian Tanefeu early in the third period. He built a 10-2 lead and then tilted the Wolverine and quickly secured the pin at the 5:38 mark. The Lions lead Michigan 6-0 after one bout.
