Penn State will punt to start the second quarter

They lead Purdue 14-0 after the first 15 minutes. Riley Thompson punts it to the Purdue 24. Boilermakers third drive of the day will start there.

Penn State builds its lead
11/16/2024 03:05:31 PMTouchdown Penn State: Drew Allar to Tyler Warren for a 15-yard touchdown. The Lions now lead Purdue 14-0 with 2:31 to go in the first quarter after cashing in on a 10-play. 93-yard drive. Warren has six catches on six targets for 81 yards.
Purdue goes three and out
11/16/2024 02:54:38 PMBoos are already flying at Ross-Ade Stadium as Purdue starts with a three and out. Dani Dennis-Sutton recorded a sack on second down and Tony Rojas had a quarterback hurry on third down. PSU takes over at its own 7 with 8:05 to go in the first quarter.

Penn State strikes first
11/16/2024 02:47:51 PMTouchdown, Penn State: Drew Allar hits Kaytron Allen for an easy two-yard score. The Lions go up 7-0 on Purdue, as the scoring play capped a nine-play, 75-yard drive in 4:52. Tyler Warren shined on the opening drive. He had three catches for 59 yards. And, Allar was 5 for 5 for 63 yards out of the gate.

Penn State availability report
11/16/2024 01:36:38 PMFor Penn State, receiver Kaden Saunders, safety KJ Winston Jr., running back Cam Wallace, linebackers Keon Wylie, tight end Andrew Rappleyea, and defensive end Zuriah Fisher are OUT. No Lions are questionable.
The key takeaway is that Singleton is not on the list. He was hurt in the second of last week’s win. But, now, he’s good to go for game day. And, Dani Dennis-Sutton is no longer questionable. That was the case last week. So, he may be full go now, too.
For Purdue there are no starters or key reserves out. The Boilermakers appear to be healthy.
