At heavyweight, Greg Kerkvliet scored a 2-0 decision win over Rutgers’ No. 7 Yaraslau Slavikouski. Penn State wins nine of 10 bouts en route to a 35-3 triumph in Piscataway. It is the Nittany Lions’ 65th consecutive dual meet victory.

Josh Barr earns the latest Lions technical fall

With the match tied at zero after two periods, Penn State redshirt freshman Josh Barr went on a takedown barrage in the third period to win by technical fall, 22-6, in 6:19. He scored seven takedowns in the final frame. The Lions lead 32-3 with a match to go.

Carter Starocci gets a technical fall

Penn State All-American and four-time NCAA champ Carter Starocci scored a 17-2 technical fall over Rutgers’ Shane Cartagena-Walsh at 184 pounds. The stoppage came with two seconds left to wrestle. The Nittany Lions lead the Scarlet Knights 27-3 with two bouts to go.
