Penn State tweets of the day
We start with a pair of new name, image, and likeness initiatives powered by two different partnerships formed by Penn State collective Happy Valley United. The first is a 50/50 drawing, via a partnership with the Jordan Hill Foundation. It will be at home football, basketball, and men’s hockey games moving forward. It is not immediately clear how the two organizations will split their side of the proceeds. Fans can buy 50/50 tickets at Saturday’s UMass game at all information booths, at suite and the Mount Nittany Club level, and around the upper and lower concourses.
The other new deal sees HVU partner with New Trail Brewing. The company will donate $1.50 to HVU for every case of State Light that is sold moving forward.
“State Light is brewed for fans of college athletics and beer,” Mike LaRosa, New Trail Owner and Director of Brewing Operations, said in a new release. “Our State Light is perfect for taking you through tailgate and right into the stadium, watching a game at a bar or sharing with friends at your watch party. We’ve developed the perfect balance in this 4.2% abv, 105 calorie light lager.

Quote of the day
“We’ve been pleased with both of them, really have, both mentally and physically. In terms of football IQ, in terms of their instincts and vision, they’ve shown that. Their ability to pass pro, they’ve shown that they’ll be tough and stick their faces in there. The Sunday night scrimmages have been good.
“So, I think both of those guys, if they’re willing to do the things off the field, specifically in the weight room and nutrition and things like that, then I think they both have a chance to have bright futures.”
