Offseason Optimism: The Penn State safety room can do it all
Thanks to a flurry of Penn State football activity in mid-February, we're picking back up with our offseason optimism series after a few weeks off. But as the winter conditioning season winds to a close, we have several essential positions to evaluate and provide an optimistic perspective for the spring. We're starting with the most apparent remaining position: safety. While we've been focusing on one key element or statistics that point towards a positional strength, today, we're casting a broader net. That's because the Penn State safety tandem of Kevin Winston Jr and Jaylen Reed were just good at everything last season.
