The Penn State Nittany Lions football team lost to Oregon 45-37 for a number of different reasons. The team committed costly penalties and gave away field position, the offense turned the ball over twice, and the defense got off to a horrendous start, giving up 31 points before halftime. All of those factors compounded upon each other to lead to the defeat.
