Penn State moves up in latest Associated Press Poll
Penn State remains firmly inside the Top 10 of the Associated Press Poll following Saturday’s 31-0 win over Iowa, moving up one spot to No. 6 overall. The Hawkeyes came into the game ranked No. 24, but now the Big Ten is back down to three teams inside the AP Top 25, all of whom rank among the Top 10.
Michigan and Ohio State remain ahead of the Nittany Lions. The Wolverines struggled in the first half against Rutgers but pulled away in the second. The Buckeyes, however, went down to the wire against Notre Dame, scoring a late touchdown with just one second left on the clock.
With the top three holding firm, Ohio State moved up two spots to No. 4 overall, with Florida State at No. 5. Washington, USC, Oregon and Utah round out the top 10.
