We start with another Penn State alum taking a new job in college wrestling. A week after David Taylor took the head coaching job at Oklahoma State, four-time All-American and 2017 NCAA champ Mark Hall II is joining the Oklahoma staff. He will be the Sooners’ new director of operations for head coach Roger Kish after spending the last three seasons at the University of Pennsylvania as an assistant coach.
“Hall’s primary responsibilities will include overseeing the team’s logistics and organizational needs off the mat, including travel, recruiting, budgeting and team events,”an Oklahoma news release said. “He’ll also serve as the program’s liaison to vital support staff and resources to enhance the student-athlete experience.”

Quote of the day
“Their scheme, it’s just amazing. It’s the best scheme out of any of the schools to be honest. I’ve been in film meetings with every coach except USC in my top five and he lets them fly around. They’re good athletes. It’s not complicated. They run some stunts but it’s really about aggression and that’s how I’ve been playing in my high school career. Just getting off the ball and attacking. I love that.”
