The 2025 NFL Draft is here. This year’s pro selection process will be held in and around the Green Bay Packers’ Lambeau Field. Penn State coach James Franklin and All-American edge rusher Abdul Carter will both be in Wisconsin on Thursday as the first 32 picks are revealed. The Lions are hoping to make some history early in the evening.

“One of the things I love about (the Draft) is, we were recruiting Abdul when he was in 10th and 11th grade,” Franklin said Tuesday night on the Penn State Coaches Show. “To watch his entire journey, and then to be in the discussion with him about his dreams, and now to be on the back end and watch him walk across that stage, be drafted in the top 5 picks and really be prepared for this next phase of his life, to me that’s what it’s all about.”

Get ready for round one of the draft with our preview below.

Time, TV, and streaming info for the 2024 NFL Draft

Round 1 starts at 8 p.m. ET. It will be televised by ABC, ESPN, and NFL Network. The NFL Channel will stream the draft, as well.

For those planning ahead, especially with the Blue-White game also set for Saturday, Rounds 2-3 are held on Friday at 7 p.m. ET. Then, Rounds 4-7 start at Noon ET. The last pick should be made by 7 p.m. ET on Saturday. The same networks and platforms from above will carry the picks as they happen.

Which Penn State players are still on the board?

All of them, of course, at this point in time. We project that five or six former Nittany Lions will go this weekend. For reference throughout the Draft, this section will be updated daily to reflect the participants who remain from the program’s Pro Day list. It included:

EDGE Abdul Carter

TE Tyler Warren

S KJ Winston

S Jaylen Reed

LB Kobe King

OL Sal Wormley,

CB Jalen Kimber,

DT Coziah Izzard

DT Dvon J-Thomas

DE Amin Vanover

WR Julian Fleming

Who could learn their NFL home today?

The answer is Carter and Warren, of course. The pair could be the first Penn State players to go in the top 10 since LaVar Arrington and Courtney Brown went at Nos. 1-2, respectively, in 2000. The mock drafts feel confident that Carter will go to the New York Giants at No. 3 overall. As for Warren, he could go as high as No. 7 to the New York Jets or as low as No. 14 to the Indianapolis Colts, and anywhere in between. One NFL.com analyst even sees the Jaguars as an option at No. 4. Of course, trades can and will shake things up. But both will be off the board tonight.
