Penn State at Big Ten Media Days: Time, TV info for Wednesday's second day
It’s Penn State day at Big Ten Media Days. The Nittany Lions are one of six programs that will be featured today. Head coach James Franklin is in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium alongside redshirt senior+ defensive tackle Dvon J-Thomas (former Dvon Ellies), senior safety Jaylen Reed, and senior tight end Tyler Warren. Each will speak with reporters on hand this afternoon. First, though, Franklin will close out the podium speech portion of the day when he becomes the final head coach to step behind the venue’s main microphone Wednesday afternoon.

What are the top storylines to watch for?
–UCLA and USC will be attending their first Big Ten Media Days event. Their coaches and players will be peppered with questions about facing new competition and how travel will impact things.
–Penn State players and Franklin will be asked about the same storylines as their USC and UCLA counterparts and conference expansion over all.
–Rhule going before Franklin is interesting since so many Penn State fans would like the former over the latter as their head coach. Neither will be asked about that, though.
–Why is D’Von Ellies now going by Dvon J-Thomas?
–How did the Lions improve during the spring and summer to try and take advantage of the newly-expanded 12-team College Football Playoff?
