Questions to answer for each Nittany Lion in Indianapolis
PJ Mustipher: Does he have any lingering injury concerns from the lower-body issue that ended his 2021 season prematurely? He appeared back to normal in 2022. But, the medical evaluations will be key for the defensive tackle.
Ji’Ayir Brown: Did the safety skip the Shrine and Senior bowls for medical reasons, or is all OK? And, if so, can he put up the kind of speed numbers necessary to quell any concerns about his pass coverage abilities?

Joey Porter Jr.: How fast will he run? There are questions about both his top end speed and change of direction abilities from draft analysts. Fair or not, his testing times in events like the 40-yard dash, shuttle run, and three-cone drill will likely be watched closely.
Parker Washington: A foot injury ended his final Penn State season early. Where is he in his recovery process, and are there any long-term impacts expected to the receiver’s speed and physical abilities once healthy?
Brenton Strange: Can he test among the best players at his position? The tight end has tremendous athleticism and speed. If he can be the latest, perhaps, unexpected Penn State star at the Combine, his draft stock will soar.
Juice Scruggs: Scruggs was the picture of dependability after a car accident caused him to miss all of the 2019 season. We know that’s a long time ago. But, teams are going to want to take a closer look at his medical situation. So, how will that play out?
