DETROIT — No. 11 Penn State (9-2) meets Michigan State today at Ford Field in Detroit. The Lions are 22.5-point favorites for the matchup, which is on NBC at 7:30 p.m. ET. Noah Eagle, Todd Blackledge, and Kathryn Tappen are on the call.

Penn State and Michigan State both released their Big Ten availability report two hours before kickoff. For the Lions, receiver Harrison Wallace III, safety Mehki Flowers, and end Smith Vilbert are OUT. No Lions are questionable.

Before the report came out, outside observers were focused on the status of Lions quarterback Drew Allar and Spartans running back Nate Carter. Both head coaches said during the week that each is expected to play in their teams’ regular season finale.

“We didn’t throw him today while you guys were out there, just so you guys could blow up Twitter and Instagram,” Lions coach James Franklin said Tuesday when asked about Allar. “But yeah, we just did that just to mess with you guys. No, that’s not the case. But no, we’re still confident that he’ll be ready to go Saturday.”
