Penn State tweets of the day
On3 college sports business, transfer portal, and NIL reporter Pete Nakes has rounded up the college football players who have made a jump in On3’s NIL valuation rankings following Week 2 of the college football season. Penn State running back Nick Singleton is in the top 20. After rushing 13 times for 119 yards and a game-sealing 41-yard touchdown in last Saturday’s win over Bowling Green, Singleton’s valuation rose by $86,000 and now sits at $703,000. That was the 19th-best move following the third weekend of college football games. And, the overall number is good for the No. 93 spot in the On3 NIL100.
“I feel like I’ve grown a long way, especially obviously you’ve seen me catching the ball and scoring, just doing stuff in the offseason, working with the receivers, tight ends, quarterbacks, just doing different routes to elevate my game, so big credit to them for sure,” Singleton told reporters after beating the Falcons.
Added Lions receiver Omari Evans on Singleton:
“It’s helping everybody, because they’re bringing more people out of the box which helps the receivers. We’re doing a better job of blocking for the running backs this year. I feel like that’s helped a lot.”

Quote of the day
“Growing up, I was and still am a huge Penn State fan, watching them every Saturday. I’ve always stayed in touch on what’s going on there. Living in PA, there are Penn State fans everywhere. I’m always watching the game either at a family member’s house, at a friend’s house or at my house. I have cousins that are huge fans of Penn State, too, so whenever they come over, the game is always the first thing they want to put on.”
