Penn State head coach Mike Rhoades and the Nittany Lions are ready for their follow up. Today, that came into sharper focus as the program revealed its 2024-25 non-conference schedule in its entirety.

Tip times and television arrangements have yet to be set for many of the matchups, but the Nittany Lions are set to take on 11 opponents, including the possibility of playing two of three potential matchups in the Sunshine Slam during Thanksgiving week in Daytona Beach, Fla. Seven games will be played at the Bryce Jordan Center this year, including the Nov. 4 season-opener against Binghamton. Others at home include a return trip for Jim Ferry with his UMBC team on Nov. 8.

Away matchup highlights include a trip to take on Virginia Tech at CFG Bank Arena in downtown Baltimore on Friday, Nov. 15 as part of a Hall of Fame Classic double-header with Virginia and Villanova. While that meeting serves as a nod and return to point guard Ace Baldwin’s home town, the Nittany Lions will also be back in Philadelphia – not at the Palestra this time – for a Dec. 21 date with Drexel. That game will be played at Wells Fargo Arena, though it will be considered as a true away game, and the only one on the 2024-25 slate.
