On3 Sports updated its list of the top 100 basketball prospects in the Class of 2023 on Monday, and several recruits with a Penn State offer made the cut.

Let’s take a look at where some key Nittany Lions targets stand.

Justin Edwards – No. 11

Imhotep small forward Justin Edwards rose slightly in the rankings this time around, missing out on five-star status by one spot at No. 11. Listed at 6-foot-7, the Philly native is the top prospect in the state of Pennsylvania. The Nittany Lions got him on campus for an unofficial visit in the fall, but he’s widely considered to be a heavy Kentucky lean.

Gavin Griffiths – No. 15

Griffiths rose 21 spots in the updated rankings to No. 15 overall. Out of Kingswood-Oxford School in West Hartford, Connecticut, Griffiths is listed at 6-foot-7, 185 pounds. The updated rankings have him as the No. 1 shooting guard in the class. He has taken an official visit to Iowa, as well as unofficial visits to UConn and Providence.

Deshawn Harris-Smith – No. 43

Harris-Smith is another talented shooting guard, coming in at No. 43. Harris-Smith is listed at 6-foot-4, 180 pounds, and plays his high school basketball at Paul VI Catholic in Virginia. He holds offers from Georgetown, LSU, St John’s VCU, Rutgers and Villanova, among others.

Devin Royal – No. 55

Longtime Penn State target Devin Royal earns his first spot in On3’s rankings at No. 55. Royal, out of Pickerington Central in Ohio, is listed at 6-foot-6, 205 pounds. He is the No. 6 overall power forward and the No. 2 prospect in the state of Ohio. He took an unofficial visit to Penn State last summer. Ohio State, Cincinnati, West Virginia and Iowa State have also offered.
