Penn State Blue-White Game Preview

The annual Blue White Game kicks off at 2 pm on Saturday, and BWI will get you ready for what to expect Saturday afternoon. The questions they address will come from Eckert’s article today, but your questions are also encouraged.

Five Questions:

  • What format will the game be in?
  • What will we see from the freshman quarterbacks?
  • Will Adisa Isaac and Sal Wormely play?
  • What can we glean from the running back situation?
  • How will Manny Diaz’s defense look?

Fisher’s season ending injury leaves Lions thin at DE

The group will also discuss the season-ending injury to Zuriah Fisher and the impact on the Penn State defense. Blue White Illustrated learned this weekend that Fisher’s season is over after suffering a leg injury this spring, leaving the Nittany Lions even thinner at edge defender. How does the panel view this injury? How much of a factor was Fisher going to be in 2022?

Next, they’ll discuss the ESPN documentary on the legacy of former Penn State head coach Joe Paterno. After viewing the documentary, Bauer wrote an article last week and had some thoughts that might surprise Penn State fans. So what is the conclusion of the hour-long look back at ten years since the scandal?

Finally, Bauer and Eckert will give more information and context to Penn State basketball’s newest members. They spoke to Drexel transfer Camren Wynter and Bucknell transfer Andrew Funk to get a better sense of each. They’ll detail what they learned on the show.
