The Penn State football program has finalized details for the 2024 Blue-White game. The annual intrasquad scrimmage that caps spring practice has long been set for April 13 at 2 p.m. ET. Now, we know parking information, a television station assignment, and more.

The highlight of the new information is the fact that Penn State will utilize mobile parking passes. According to a news release:

“Parking passes for regular vehicles and RVs for the Blue-White Game were part of the 2023 season parking pass package and are now available in Penn State Account Manager. The location of the parking pass will be the same location as a season parking pass holder’s 2023 regular-season parking location. The parking pass is only valid for the lot (and space, if applicable) listed on the parking pass.”

Those who did not have parking during the 2023 season and need to buy it for the 2024 Blue-White game can do so by clicking here. The advanced rate is $20 per vehicle. Those who choose to wait and buy at the stadium will be charged the following via cash or credit card:  $20 per regular vehicle, $60 per RV and $60 per bus.

Parking lots will open on Saturday of the Blue-White game at 8 a.m.

Is mobile parking for Penn State football here to stay?

Yes, we’re aware that, more than the Blue-White game, this is the question that most of you are curious about. In a news release, Penn State calls the mobile parking “Special for the 2024 Blue-White Game.” Special could mean one of two things. This could certainly be a test run for using it during the 2024 regular season. But, it should also be noted that mobile parking passes were used for the 2022 Blue-White game, too, and that did not lead to a change for the regular season. So, it could truly be just a feature of this year’s spring game. That said, it goes without saying that more and more venues are pairing mobile tickets with mobile parking passes.

The Big Ten Network will televise the 2024 Penn State Blue-White game. A broadcast crew is not yet out. The game day one-way traffic pattern will go into effect at 11:30 a.m. Beaver Stadium gates A, B, C and E will be open for fan entry. Those open at Noon ET on April 13.

“Seeing a lot of people go away from spring games and have kind of had more of a practice or skills type activity in front of the fans,” Lions coach James Franklin said earlier this month. “We’re hopeful that we can have more of a traditional spring game, which I think will be really valuable as well.

“I’m not one of these guys that overly is concerned in hiding too much. The reality is people can watch us last year. They’ve got all the tape. They can watch Vanderbilt special teams tape. They can watch Kansas’s offense’s tape and watch a combination of Indiana and our defensive tape from last year. It’s not like there’s a whole lot of secrets out there.”
