Penn State is prepping for many things as November comes to a close. The Nittany Lions are awaiting a bowl game assignment. It will come six days from today on Selection Sunday across college football. The College Football Playoff committee will first announce this year’s four semifinalists around Noon ET on Dec. 3. Then, around 2 p.m. ET, it will reveal the New Year’s Six bowl game participants. After that, the rest of the postseason matchups will be revealed.

Where will the Lions end up playing in search of their 11th win? Here are the latest projections with just conference championship weekend left to go before the decision is made.

Where will the Lions end up?

There is a bit more parity in this week’s roundup than expected. But, Penn State making its first trip to the Peach Bowl in program history is still the consensus favorite six days before selections are made. Many think the Lions will face Tulane, which would mark its first bowl game matchup against a Group of Five opponent since beating Memphis in the 2019 Cotton Bowl. Would that pairing get fans of both sides to Atlanta? Time will tell. The same goes for where the Lions will end up. More clarity will be had after conference championship Saturday.
