Penn State and Daniel Harris saga continues
However, T-Frank and Snyder start the show discussing the latest on four-star corner Daniel Harris. Most of the On3 Penn State and national staff have put a pick in for Harris land at Penn State, but it has yet to happen. So what’s the situation? Snyder and T-Frank discuss how the rollercoaster recruitment has gone this week.
Next, they discuss another important target that Penn State could hope to secure shortly. Class of 2024 running back Duke Watson has been publicly high on the Nittany Lions, but Snyder says there’s some conflict internally about the staff accepting a commitment right away. Why? Snyder says that it’s not about talent but the opposite issue.
Lastly, Snyder updates T-Frank on the official visit list for Penn State’s big weekend, starting next Friday. The Nittany Lions are hosting several significant prospects beginning on Dec. 9, and Snyder gives T-Frank a rundown of the latest additions. The list, and the conversation, are heavy on running back discussion with the uncertainty of veteran Keyvone Lee‘s status with the team this offseason. If Lee chooses to leave via the transfer portal, the current projection is that the team would have only one healthy scholarship running back. So Snyder and T-Frank will discuss that position’s names and priority level next weekend.
