In other news, the first Penn State kick time of the season is here. The Lions will open their 2023 slate in primetime on Sept. 2. The contest that day with West Virginia at Beaver Stadium will start at 7:30 p.m. ET. NBC will televise it. This marks the first time since 2006 that the Lions will be on that network. Quote of the day
“Nick is phenomenal. There’s not enough good things I could say about Nick, but the best thing I could say about Nick is that he’s truly a kid. You get some kids who want to grow up really fast or live that double street life as well as play football. You don’t get any of that with Nick; you get a true genuine person.”
