There’s no shortage of movement for Penn State’s Class of 2024 following Monday’s release of the updated On300 rankings. As expected, Cheshire Academy (Conn.) tight end Luke Reynolds and Olentangy (Ohio) quarterback Ethan Grunkemeyer both made big moves following impressive showings on the camp circuit dating back to the spring. Reynolds is now ranked No. 81 in the nation and fifth overall at the tight position. Grunkemeyer is up to No. 176 nationally and is the 10th-ranked quarterback.

But that’s just the start of what was a big update for the Nittany Lions. Coming into the day, Penn State had just one player inside the Top 100 nationally. That’s now up to three total, as both offensive tackle Garrett Sexton and edge rusher Mylachi Williams are also now among the nation’s very best.

Sexton, from Hartland, Wisc., is now the top-ranked player in the class at No. 44 nationally. He’s also the seventh-ranked offensive tackle. Williams, who just committed to Penn State over the weekend, also made a massive move upwards, climbing 126 spots to No. 79 overall. The Philadelphia native is now the ninth-ranked edge rusher.

Penn State’s class also saw two other players join the On300, while two more dropped out. Offensive lineman Cooper Cousins was inside the On300 for much of the year but just barely fell out during the previous update in the spring. He’s now firmly back in at No. 215 nationally. Also, safety Dejuan Lane, who committed to Penn State last month, is now part of the list at No. 274 nationally. WR Tyseer Denmark and OL Donovan Harbour both dropped out, however. Denmark still holds a four-star rating, while Harbour dropped to a three-star.
