On3 put out its latest rankings release for the Class of 2025 on Monday. Penn State’s group of 26 commitments currently ranks 15th in the country in the cycle and fifth in the Big Ten.

While the Nittany Lions are still hopeful of making some noise down the stretch with potential flip targets, the early signing period opens on Dec. 4 with National Signing Day. That date has been moved up a few weeks from the typical December signing day, which means a shift in approach for all schools. Programs can continue to host prospects through the final weekend of November, but no longer have post-season official visitors or in-home visits in December.

Two members of Penn State’s Class of 2025 made leaps in the On300 release on Monday. Leading the way is New Jersey offensive lineman Malachi Goodman, who moved up 62 spots to No. 46 overall. He is now rated as the nation’s No. 8 offensive tackle and the No. 2 player in New Jersey. That movement also moved him inside the Top 100 in the On3 Industry rankings. Goodman is the highest rated Penn State commit in both sets of rankings.

Kansas defensive end Jayden Woods was one of the biggest movers in the latest On3 rankings release. The four-star prospect moved up 126 spots to No. 141 overall. He’s now the nation’s No. 15 Edge prospect and is the No. 3 player in Kansas. His On3 Industry ranking is now up to No. 118 overall nationally.

Recent defensive end commit Chaz Coleman also saw some upward movement in the latest batch of rankings. Coleman is up 22 spots to No. 191 nationally and he’s the No. 8 prospect in Ohio in the cycle. In total, eight Penn State commits reside in the latest On300 release. Wide receiver Lyrick Samuel is the lone NIttany Lions commit to fall out of the rankings, though he has retained his four-star rating with On3.
