It’s never easy replacing a player widely regarded as the best at his position in college football, but Penn State feels it’s in solid standing at tight end following the departure of Tyler Warren to the NFL. The Nittany Lions have developed an assembly line at the position in the last five years, with the expected crescendo coming on Thursday night during the first round of the NFL Draft.  Back in Happy Valley, the Nittany Lions are busy trying to replace Warren’s team-record 104 catches and 13 total touchdowns from a year ago. One player won’t be able to replicate those numbers, obviously, but Penn State tight ends coach Ty Howle is confident that his room, led by senior Khalil Dinkins and sophomore Luke Reynolds, won’t provide much of a letdown.
