Penn State Early Enrollee introduction: Cornerback Daryus Dixson

Penn State dipped into California for a pair of prospects in the Class of 2025. This season, it’s expected that there will be four players on the Nittany Lions roster who played their prep ball in the Golden State. Three of them — kicker Chase Meyer, wide receiver Kyron Hudson and cornerback Daryus Dixson — suited up for Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana. Dixson is the latest to join the fray, as he enrolled at University Park over the winter. The four-star prospect committed to Penn State last June and was among the quieter players in the Nittany Lions’ Class of 2025. He’s joined Terry Smith’s cornerback room and hopes to make a dent in the depth chart as soon as possible.
