Penn State February offers roundup: Defensive backs and athletes
Penn State Nittany Lions football offered several defensive backs during the month of February, and a handful of athletes as well.
Let’s take a look at each one.
Braydon Lee – 2024 CB
Lee is an unranked, 6-foot-1 cornerback out of Charles Herbert Flowers in Maryland. His early offers list is impressive, including the likes of Alabama, Ohio State, South Carolina, Maryland and West Virginia.
“Penn State, along with other schools, has just been one of my consistently top schools whenever I make a list,” Lee told BWI. “Ever since I was a little kid, just something always about Penn State has just always been in the back of my mind.”
Brice Pollock – 2023 CB
Pollock joined the ranks of 2023 defensive backs to earn a Penn State offer in early February. Out of Shiloh High School in Georgia, Pollock is still unrated by the major recruiting services. On3 lists him at 6-foot-1, 175 pounds. He holds offers from Florida State, Pitt Georgia Tech, Duke, UCF and more.
Braeden Marshall – 2023 CB
Marshall attended one of Penn State’s junior days last month. Described as one of the fastest rising juniors in the country by On3’s Gerry Hamilton, he owns offers from Nebraska, TCU, Virginia and many more. Out of Lake Mary High School in Florida, he’s a three-star prospect according to On3 and a four-star with the Consensus.
Jaylen Neal – 2024 ATH
Out of Buford High School in Georgia, 2024 athlete Jaylen Neal stands at 6-foot, 180 pounds. Currently an unrated prospect, Neal holds offers from UCF, Arkansas, Duke and Colorado, to list a few. Alabama is also interested but has not offered yet. He is listed as a running back and cornerback for Buford.
Tyshun White – 2024 CB
Another prospect out of Buford, White is a 5-foot-10, 180-pound cornerback who is yet to be rated by the recruiting services. His list of offers is already impressive, including the likes of Texas, UNC, Florida State, Ole Miss and Kentucky.
Trelain Maddox – 2024 ATH
Maddox is another of five Buford players to receive a Penn State offer in February. A 6-foot-2, 190-pound athlete, Maddox has played at both corner and running back for Buford. His offers list includes USC, Ole Miss, Colorado, Duke and UConn.

Lotzeir Brooks – 2025 ATH
An unrated 2025 athlete, Brooks is listed at 5-foot-9, 170 pounds. The prospect out of Millville, New Jersey, also holds offers from Rutgers, Texas A&M, Nebraska, Georgia and Kentucky, among others.
Luke Evans – 2023 CB
Luke Evans is a 6-foot-1 corner out of Marjory Stoneman Douglas in Florida. He holds offers from Georgia, Kentucky, Indiana, Arkansas, Iowa State and more.
“I’ve taken a look at all these schools,” Evans told On3. “Penn State is a big program. I haven’t taken a deep look into Arkansas yet, but I know they’re SEC and a Power Five school. All of them are good programs.”
Jaremiah Anglin – 2023 S
Another 2023 offer out of Florida, Anglin is a four-star prospect according to On3 and a three-star recruit according to the Consensus. He is 6-foot-2, 184 pounds, and holds offers from Florida, Tennessee, Florida State, Miami and more.
Daylen Austin – 2023 CB
Austin plays his high school football at Long Beach Poly in California, and is a four-star prospect and the No. 208 overall recruit in 2023 according to the On3 Consensus. USC, Georgia, Michigan State, Alabama and many others have also offered.
Damon Walters – 2023 S
A three-star prospect out of Bolingbrook High School in Illinois, Walters stands at 5-foot-11, 175 pounds. The Class of 2023 safety holds offers from Wisconsin, Tennessee, Iowa, Northwestern and Minnesota.
