What Penn State football's scholarship chart looks like following addition of Demeioun Robinson
Penn State head coach James Franklin said the Nittany Lions were after some pass-rushing help in the transfer portal.
In the form of Maryland transfer Demeioun Robinson, the Nittany Lions have landed the defensive end Franklin was looking for.
The rising sophomore is a former top-100 prospect, and played in 13 games for the Terps last season.
But how does his addition impact Penn State’s scholarship chart? According to BWI’s count, the Nittany Lions now stand at 86 scholarships — one over the limit of 85.
Take a look at the chart in full, below:
*Italics indicate player took a redshirt season.
**Players are organized according to their designation on Penn State’s roster, which takes the COVID year into account. For example, a player who is entering his fourth season and has not redshirted will be listed as a junior, because the COVID year grants him an additional season of eligibility. As such, Parker Washington is listed as a sophomore, Devyn Ford is listed as a junior, and so on.
