Penn State returns to the friendly confines of Beaver Stadium following a bye week just two games into the 2024 season. Awaiting the Nittany Lions on Saturday afternoon will be Kent State, who is 0-3 and coming off of a 71-0 loss at Tennessee last weekend.

The Nittany Lions are once again heavy favorites, but after stumbling through the first half against Bowling Green two weeks ago, James Franklin’s squad isn’t taking anything for granted.

“The reality is we played a half of football inconsistent [to] how we normally play, looking at how the second half went,” Franklin said on Wednesday evening. “But as you can imagine, this early in the season, a half impacts you dramatically. It won’t impact you later in the season, when we played a bunch of games. But yeah, I think we’re used to playing dominating football around here. We’ve been doing it for a long time, so I think they do have a chip on their shoulder. And I’m expecting that to show up on Saturday.”

The Nittany Lions are dealing with some bumps and bruises, chief among them a long-term injury to star safety KJ Winston. With that said, there have been some shakeups in the projected Penn State depth chart. Check out the listing below in a printable form that you can share or take along with you to Beaver Stadium.
