The final day of February has arrived, and while things have been slow on the Penn State front of late, that should change in the next few days.

We start with Josiah Trotter.
The Philadelphia St. Joe’s Prep Class of 2023 linebacker has announced his top five. Penn State made the cut along with Virginia Tech, Clemson, West Virginia, and South Carolina.
Penn State is the currently the runaway leader in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). The Lions were the only program that hosted the 6-foot-2, 225-pound senior-to-be for a game last season. Where the son of former NFL standout Jeremiah visits during the spring and summer will go a long way toward figuring out whoever the final choice will be. He told On3 that he plans to decide before his final prep season.

Next up is a reminder that the NFL Combine is this week. The annual scouting and testing event in Indianapolis, Ind., does start today. But, the first workouts aren’t until March 3. Once those start, however, they run through Sunday.
Eight former Penn State players will be on hand. That list includes safety Jaquan Brisker, corner Tariq Castro-Fields, receiver Jahan Dotson, defensive ends Arnold Ebiketie and Jesse Luketa, linebacker Brandon Smith, punter Jordan Stout, and offensive tackle Rasheed Walker. You can watch them all throughout the various workout days on NFL Network.
