The moment has come for two of Penn State football’s top players from the 2024 season. The first round of the NFL Draft is Thursday night (8 p.m., ABC, ESPN, and NFL Network) and Blue White Illustrated is updating throughout as the Nittany Lions await hearing their names called.

James Franklin outlines day of activity around the country

Joining reporters on Wednesday this week following his Nittany Lions’ practice, Franklin detailed the itinerary he’s executing for the day.
“We’re going to fly down have lunch with Tyler and his grandparents and his parents and his entire family during the day, because there’s no way to be with both of them at the same time,” said Franklin. “And then Ty will stay there, and Karen (Howle’s wife) will stay there and have celebrate with Tyler Warren. And then they’ll rent a car and drive back.
“Then we’ll fly out to Green Bay and celebrate with Abdul and then, as soon as that happens, jump on the plane and fly back because we got things we got to get done. And then obviously, I also want to make sure that I’m calling and I’m in touch with all the other guys, because I’d love to be at all of theirs. They’re all over, having draft parties, and we just can’t make it to all of them so we’ll be in we’ll be in touch with all those guys as well, make sure we’re communicating.”
