BWI Photos: Penn State opens 2024 season with big nonconference win over West Virginia

Penn State head coach James Franklin and his staff couldn’t have asked for a better start to the 2024 season. Despite a hostile crowd in Morgantown and a two-hour rain delay, West Virginia was no match for the Nittany Lions, as Penn State began its season 1-0 with a 34-12 win over the Mountaineers.

Whether it was 450 yards of total offense or Penn State’s fast and physical defense that limited West Virginia to under 250 yards, Nittany Lion fans have to be excited as the Lions now get set to open up Beaver Stadium next weekend against Bowling Green.
