Penn State head coach James Franklin and his team will head into Big Ten play this week as the seventh-ranked team in the country following back-to-back home wins to start the 2023 season. They’ll travel to Champaign, Ill., Saturday to face an Illinois squad that’s allowed 955 yards of offense against Toledo and Kansas so far. That’s resulted in a 1-1 record, as the Fighting Illini lost to the Jayhawks on the road this past Friday, 34-23.

But before we turn the page entirely to this upcoming week, Nittany Lion fans can check out Blue White Illustrated photographer Steve Manuel’s photo gallery from last weekend’s win over Delaware.
