Penn State finished up its regular season Friday night in Detroit with one of its most complete wins of the 2023 season, defeating Michigan State 42-0. Offensively, the Lions finished with 586 yards, their highest total of the season. Quarterback Drew Allar threw for 292 yards and two scores while running backs Kaytron Allen and Nick Singleton combined for 255 yards between them.

But Manny Diaz’s defense was arguably even more impressive, limiting the Spartans to just 53 total yards in the game. Not only did they get their third shutout of the season, but the Nittany Lions totaled 12 tackles for loss and seven sacks in the game.
