Penn State fans, we’re now just hours away from prospects being able to sign their letters of intent.

National Signing Day doesn’t hold the same sort of weight that it used to, as the early signing period in December sees the majority of top players end their recruitments nowadays. Out of the top 100 prospects in the On3 Consensus, only six of them are still unsigned.

For James Franklin and his Penn State staff, a quiet National Signing Day is a good thing. That’s especially true this year, as the Nittany Lions inked 23 quality prospects back on Dec. 15. That included three five-star prospects in quarterback Drew Allar, running back Nick Singleton and defensive end Dani Dennis-Sutton. Of those three, Allar and Singleton have already enrolled.

But that doesn’t mean tomorrow will be completely quiet. Penn State still has to sign Lackawanna College safety Tyrece Mills. Franklin and his staff held off on signing Mills in December. Due to the initial counter rule, Penn State had to clarify his academic standing or risk losing a scholarship. All indications suggest that he did what he needed to do in the fall, as Mills is expected to officially become a Penn State player tomorrow morning.

Nittany Lion fans will also be waiting to hear from offensive lineman Vega Ioane. The Washington native just took an official visit to Penn State this past weekend. After backing out of his commitment to Washington in December, Ioane took an official visit with new head coach Kalen DeBoer and his staff the week before traveling to State College. His decision will come down to Penn State, Washington and Minnesota. He’s expected to announce around 11:45 a.m ET.

So, what are we hearing with just hours remaining until we get an announcement? Penn State fans, join Ryan Snyder inside The Lions Den for the latest!
