Top Penn State target William Satterwhite has locked in his spring visit schedule for March and April.

A four-star prospect from Ohio, Satterwhite has seen his list of offers climb to nearly 30 schools over the past 10 months. Penn State has put themselves in a strong position early on, hosting him twice so far, with his most recent visit coming in January.

Now, following a weekend trip north to see both Michigan and Michigan State, Satterwhite plans to take eight more visits over the next four weeks. Those trips will begin this upcoming weekend, March 25, when he travels to Tennessee for the first time. The Vols extended an offer to the 6-foot-3, 295-pound interior lineman on Jan. 30.

Satterwhite will follow that visit up with a trip to Cincinnati the following weekend to meet with new head coach Scott Satterfield and his staff. He’ll actually follow that visit with a trip to Satterfield’s previous school, Louisville, just two days later on April 1.

The Archbishop Hoban prospect will then use his spring break to head south, visiting four schools for the first time in just five days. He’ll begin with Auburn, April 8, then go to in-state rival Alabama two days later on April 10. Georgia will then get him on campus the following day, April 11, before he and his family wrap up their trip with a visit to Clemson, April 12.

As we reported earlier this month, Satterwhite’s final visit will be to Penn State, as he and family will spend two days in State College, April 14-15, over Blue-White weekend.

According to the On3 Industry Rankings, Satterwhite sits just outside the top 200, ranking No. 212 nationally. He’s the 13th-ranked interior offensive lineman and No. 6 overall in Ohio.

On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine currently leans towards Penn State, as both Sean Fitz and myself have logged picks for the Nittany Lions. The algorithm gives PSU a 96.5 percent chance of landing Satterwhite’s commitment.
