Penn State picked up another player in its Class of 2023 Monday when offensive lineman Josh Miller announced his commitment.
Miller had long been considered a lean towards the Nittany Lions. He was close to committing in the beginning of November, but ultimately decided to hold off. Clemson was considered Penn State’s main competitor, although North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia Tech also made his top five.
On today’s recruiting podcast, Ryan Snyder and Greg Pickel discuss Miller’s commitment and what it means for Penn State moving forward. The Nittany Lions now. have at least two offensive lineman committed for 2023 in Miller and Alex Birchmeier. It should be noted that tight end Mathias Barnwell could also grow into a tackle.
Building on that, Ryan and Greg look at the 2023 class moving forward, specifically at offensive line. With two interior prospects already committed, tackle will become an even bigger focus in the months ahead. Ryan discusses why he believes Gonzaga offensive tackle Evan Link is shaping up to be an incredibly important recruit for Penn State in 2023.
