Penn State football: See photos from local media day, practice
STATE COLLEGE — Penn State football is one step closer to the Peach Bowl. The No. 10 Nittany Lions held local media day and an open portion of practice for reporters on Friday afternoon here. Numerous members of the program spoke with reporters throughout the morning and early afternoon. Then, the team took to both the outdoor practice fields and the indoor turf at Holuba Hall to get some work in.
“The GAs and analysts have been back breaking the tape down,” co-interim defensive coordinator Anthony Poindexter said Friday. “We watched them whenever we had a chance when we came off the road. We started grinding this morning. We’ll grind tomorrow, so really, our prep has started. We’re trying to get the nuts and bolts and trying to get the game plan together. That will start this weekend. We’ll have practices and start putting bits and pieces. We’ve seen what they do. But now, we’re starting to drill down on it, starting [Friday] and in the following days.”
Blue-White Illustrated had complete coverage throughout the day. You can find story links below and also see what our cameras captured.
