Penn State football sets busy weekend for NIL opportunities
Some of Penn State football’s most recognizable names are set for a big weekend both in State College and beyond. Along with a free youth football clinic on Saturday in Scranton, Pa., premier players of the program will also be in State College meeting fans over the weekend.
Announced on Wednesday, new Penn State collective Happy Valley United is partnering with Weis Markets for three meet-and-greets. They’ll take place on Saturday and Sunday at the three Weis Market locations in State College.
The first session is set for Saturday, July 22 at the Weis Market on Westerly Parkway. Linebacker Abdul Carter and receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith will be on hand from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. to meet with fans, take photos, and sign autographs.
The second session will follow shortly thereafter. From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Nittany Lions Caedan Wallace and Amin Vanover will take part at the Weis Market just off North Atherton in State College.
And, on Sunday afternoon, another group of Nittany Lions will be on hand at the Weis just off South Atherton in State College from noon until 3 p.m. The first wave will feature Curtis Jacobs and Kalen King from noon until 1:30 p.m. Then, a second wave will feature Keaton Ellis and Jaylen Reed from 1:30 p.m. until 3 p.m.

Each of the three events have been advertised as players “giving out schedule posters, signing autographs and taking pictures.”
Nittany Lion Summer Impact Camp
Meanwhile, in Scranton, Penn State football players will again participate in the Nittany Lion Summer Impact Camp at Riverfront Sports. The free youth camp is set for boys and girls between the fifth and eighth grades. The clinic is set to run from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. There will also be a concurrent camp for disabled youth aged 10 to 21 on tap.
The tentative list of Nittany Lion players set to lead the camp has expanded to include Curtis Jacobs, Dom Deluca, Theo Johnson, Beau Pribula, Kalen King, Nick Dawkins, Liam Clifford, Drew Shelton, Zane Durant, Dani Dennis-Sutton, Ibrahim Traore, Harrison Wallace, London Montgomery, Hunter Nourzad, Kaytron Allen, Tyler Warren, Olu Fashanu, Golden Achumba, Dvon Ellies, and Trey Potts.
