The Penn State Nittany Lions football team takes on Purdue today at 3:30 to start its final road swing of the regular season. Get ready for the game with the Penn State football Tailgate Show! Former offensive lineman Landon Tengwall joins the show for 90 minutes of Nittany Lions talk live from the Field Burger and tap. Penn State Purdue preview

There’s less at stake against a 1-8 Purdue team on the road than in the previous two weeks, but today, we’ll discuss ways the team can improve in the season’s final three weeks.  

The offense hasn’t hit its full stride since early September, and despite a strong first half last week, it still is looking for some missing ingredients. Can they get that this week? We’ll discuss where they need to improve and what you can take away from a game like the one we have today.

Defensively, the team has played well this year, despite some inconsistent first-half performances. What do we expect from this group today? And what young players do we expect to see on both sides of the ball for the Nittany Lions this weekend? We’ll discuss which young Penn State players we want to see perform well on the football field to help bolster the team’s depth heading into December.

Finally, we’ll give our keys to the game and our score predictions to end the show.
